You know how it is. You’re sitting there, listening to EPSRC outlining its strategy, and, well, it all just seems to blend. The words jumble, and you get lost amongst the Grand Challenges and the Great Technologies, the Strategic Partnerships and the Sustainable Commitments.

Since you'll be making another one, here's a few based on personal experience (unfortunately): low-hanging fruit (always gets me giggling – I know: very immature but hey, these meetings are begging for it), smart specialization (always makes me feel dumb), transferable (like a virus, right?)
